The age ranges are general as babies' feet vary greatly in size. There are 3 choices to help choose correct size: Child's actual shoe size (if known), child's foot size in actual inches and average age. To measure inches, place child's foot on a piece of paper and draw a line at the back of heel and top of big toe. Measure the distance with a ruler and follow the guideline as depicted below. We do not recommend purchasing a shoe that is too long at the toe. This is especially important when baby is starting to walk. Please be sure to order the correct size for your baby. Any baby shoe that is more than 1/2 inch at the toe can cause the child to potentially trip and fall.

If ordering as a gift, we recommend ordering the size that corresponds with the baby's age and we would be happy to exchange the size if needed at no charge. Or, you can order the next size up to be safe, and if too large the shoe will be sure to properly fit in just a few months.
